About Us Revolution of Me is an organization whose
mission is to help young professionals between the ages of
18 and 34 obtain the career and
personal success they desire. By continuing to live in your
shoes, we understand your challenges and have designed tools
and resources for you to overcome the generational
stereotypes you face in your personal and professional
lives. |
The Founder, Christine DiDonato
unknowingly started her career in training and development
by missing the deadline to apply for a paid internship in
graduate school. A guidance counselor informed her that an
internship was required to earn her degree and the only ones
available didn’t pay a dime. Executive Counterparts, a
consulting company in San Francisco, welcomed Christine with
little supervision and a large workload. Four months into
the internship and while reporting to its founder and CEO
Michelle Burke, Christine began designing and eventually
facilitating training for large organizations such as Ernst
and Young, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and Microsoft. Michelle,
who has remained Christine’s mentor for the past eight
years, passed on foundational business and training
knowledge. The most valued lesson was the connection between
personal beliefs, actions and related outcomes.
Over the next eight years, Christine put her mentor’s
lessons to the test and found herself moving into the
corporate arena as Training Specialist for Household
Finance. While in her early twenties, Christine made many
mistakes common to her generation; having high expectations
based solely on academic achievements. Frustrated with her
position, Christine started documenting her beliefs,
identified her actions at work and analyzed her outcomes.
She found many of her beliefs were generational and similar
to others in her peer group. Most importantly, she was not
getting her desired results. By identifying generational
mindsets she consciously changed her beliefs and therefore
changed her results and outcomes. Her promotion to Training
Manager and significant salary increase after only one year
on the job made her a believer in her own methodology and a
leader among other young professionals in the organization.
To her surprise, Christine developed a reputation as a guru
of motivating and coaching young professionals to become the
next generation of leaders in an organization. Thornton
Financial Services, Inc recruited Christine as their Vice
President of Training and Development tasked with growing a
young call center in the United States before expanding
internationally. Her current role, Director of Training and
Development at Five Point Capital, has challenged her with
developing the next generation of leadership within an
organization where more than 70% of its’ population are
young professionals and profits are expected to double
annually. Christine DiDonato
holds a Master of Arts in Speech and Communication from San
Francisco State University and founded the Revolution of Me
organization with over ten years of training and development
experience focused on coaching young professionals. She is
also a member of the American Society of Training and
Development (ASTD) and the National Speaker’s Association (NSA).
In her spare time, Christine enjoys trying new restaurants,
cooking, and traveling. |
